29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a)  Mercer Square - On or about July 17, 2012, an employee is painting while working on a low slope roof, no less than 8 feet above finished grade, without any means of fall protection.

SCHNOLL PAINTING, WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312978018, CITATION NUMBER 1 , ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 12, 2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1920 WHITEHALL MALL, WHITEHALL, PA 18052 AND OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 31918791, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM 2, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2009, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 515 US HWY 1 SOUTH, ISELIN, NJ 08830.
