On or about July 9, 2012, an employee using a Hitachi NR83A2 pneumatic air nail gun to nail plywood did not have on safety glasses, exposing himself to being hit by nails or flying debris. Attract Construction Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13),which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315481960, citation 01, item number 001a, issued on December 13, 2011, with respect to a workplace at 124 Turtle Cove, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413.The final order date was January 4, 2012.    29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure:     a. On or about July 9, 2012, an employee performing framing operations was not protected from an 8 foot interior fall hazard and a 17 foot exterior fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.    Abatement Certification and Documentation are not required

The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    a. On or about July 9, 2012, employees performing framing operations were not trained to recognize, control or minimize hazards, in that they did not recieve any safety training form the employer.
