29 CFR 1926.451(f)(14): Makeshift devices, such as but not limited to boxes and barrels, were used on top of scaffold platforms to increase the working level height of employees: a. On or about July 10, 2012, on a ladder jack scaffold system, an employee performing painting operations used a bucket to elevate his working height, exposing himself to a 9.5 feet fall hazard.
