29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(iii): The employer did not assure that each employee had been trained by a competent person in the use and operation of guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems, safety net systems, warning line systems, safety monitoring systems, controlled access zones, and other protection to be used: 1) On July 13, 2012, employees engaged in roofing work were exposed to falls when they had disconnected from their personal fall arrest systems. The employees had not been adequately trained in the correct use of the fall protection equipment. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
