29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) NOTE TO CSHO: USE THIS OPTION ONLY IN CASES WHERE THE INFEASIBILITY/GREATER HAZARD EXCEPTION IS NOT IN ISSUE. a) Jobsite: N. 2nd St. and W. Oxford St. - Three employees were involved in residential construction activities within one foot from an unprotected edge approximately 30 feet above ground level without fall protection. The employees were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems or by the use of alternative means of fall protection. Observed on or about 07/19/12. SPMG CONSTRUCTION, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN NSPECTION NUMBER 315819789, CITATION 1, ITEM 1a, AND AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 08/29/12 , WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT BROAD & DAUPHIN STREETS, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19132.
