29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(I): Flexible cords and cables shall be protected from damage. Sharp corners and projections shall be avoided. Flexible cords and cables may pass through doorways or other pinch points, if protection is provided to avoid damage. a) Waste Water Treatment Plant BLR Tank The flexible cords used to supply power to the portable tools at the worksite were being run over by the RT Pettibone T-1157 Forklift on a daily basis. There were no barrier guards to prevent the damage being done to the flexible cords, on or about June 22, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
