29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(i): The end of a platform 10 feet or less in length extended over its support more than 12 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees and/or materials without tipping, or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilivered end: (a) Jobsite: On or about July 19, 2012, employees were working from a tubular welded frame scaffolding and the wooden planking (that was less than 10 feet) extended over its end supports by as much as 2 1/2 feet. The wooden planks were not secured from tipping. The fall hazard to the employees was approxiamtely 30 feet.
