OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards, while performing warehouse work: On or about 07/18/2012, at 12500 Sysco Way, Medley, Fl, employees were exposed to stuck by hazards, while performing work in a warehouse. The employer failed to ensure the storage rack structural components were maintained properly. The following rack was bent: D1-01-A1. Among other methods of abatement, a feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to replace the bent rack as per ANSI MH16.1:2008. NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS NEEDED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
