29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This violation occurred on July 23, 2012, at a workplace located at 6329 Goliad Ave., Dallas, Texas 75214; where at least five (5) employees were observed working on a residential roof without the use of fall protection.
