29 CFR 1910.261(k)(15): Steps or ladders of uniform rise and tread with nonslip surfaces were not provided at each calendar stack: This violation occurred on or about July 19, 2012 and at times prior thereto, NGC Industries, LLC employees accessing the press rolls from the back of the second press were required to scale the piping/machinery to reach the rolls exposing employees to the hazards of falling.

29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulleys, any parts of which are seven (7) feet or less from the floor or working platform, were not guarded in accordance with the standards specified in paragraphs (m) and (o) of this section: This violation occurred on or about July 19, 2012, and at times prior thereto, in the dry end at each dryer section employees working around the rope pulleys pulling paper were not protected from the ingoing nip points exposing employees to being caught in the machinery. NGC INDUSTRIES, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT 29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 316194513, CITATION 01, ITEM 005a AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON FEBRUARY 27, 2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1818 RIVER RD, BURLINGTON, NJ.
