29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):  Eye and face protective equipment was not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:    a) On or before July 18, 2012, Summit View Land & Home, Inc., as controlling employer, did not ensure that Luis De Lara, a subcontractor, protected their employees from eye injuries while operating pneumatic nailers. The employees were installing shingles on 3-12 pitched roof.    Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
