29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: a) Thunder, Inc.: Employees, (Hair Stylists) while applying Simply Smooth Keratin Treatment which contains DMDM, were potentially exposed to formaldehyde. The employer did not develop a Hazard Communication program designed to describe how employee training, material safety data sheets and labeling will be addressed in the salon. On or about July 24, 2012. b) Thunder, Inc.: Employees, (Hair Stylists) while applying L'Oreal INOA hair color, were potentially exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to, 2-Aminoethanol and Ethyl Alcohol. The employer did not develop a Hazard Communication program designed to describe how employee training, material safety data sheets and labeling would be addressed in the salon. On or about July 24, 2012.
