29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 1009 NW Loop 410 San Antonio, Texas 78213: On or about July 24, 2012, an employee not wearing a personal fall arrest system was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet to the ground below while removing metal roof sheeting.
