NOTE: Knockout boxes were designed to be secured to a fixed/permanent structure. When knockout boxes are used on the ends of flexible cords, employees gripping the box to attach or disconnect a plug may dislodge the circular scored metal portion in the box wall causing it to come in contact with the hot terminal. The result may lead to an electric shock.
