29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: The employer does not ensure that all reinforcing steel, onto which employees could fall, is guarded. This violation was observed on or about July 25, 2012, when employees were exposed to an impalement hazard while working around vertically positioned reinforcing steel located in a two feet deep hole without guarding.
