29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: The employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels is protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) This violation occurred on or about June 24, 2012, on the north side of the home where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet when installing flashing on a residential home without a fall protection system. b) This violation occurred on or about June 20, 2012, on the south side of the home where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet when installing shingles on a residential home without a fall protection system.
