29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: This violation most recently occurred on July 26, 2012, at a workplace located at 401 Pinson Road, Forney,TX 75126; where at least two (2) employees worked from the roof structure, not protected from falling an approximate 10-ft, 2-inches to the ground level below. STAR ROOFING & SHEET METAL WAS PRECVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(1) OR IT'S EQUVALENT, WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 314185430, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM 01, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS FINAL ORDER ON DECEMBER 29, 2011, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 3241 W. STORY ROAD, IRVING, TX 75062.
