29 CFR 1926.701(b): Reinforcing steel. All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, shall be guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. (a) Welding & Industrial Maintenance Room - On or about July 24, 2012 employees were exposed to an impalement hazard while working. Protruding reinforcing steel was not guarded.
