29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: (a) 269 1St Street Pittfsield, MA: On or about July 12, 2012, employees were observed installing a new roof on a commercial building without being protected form falling more than 40 feet to the ground below as required by this subpart: R & H Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of a similar occupational health and safety standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315514273 which became final order on September 21, 2011 with respect to a work place at 143 Main St in Easthampton, MA .
