29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):     Each employee in an excavation shall be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section except when:    Employees were working in an approximately 24 feet 8 inch by 10 feet 6 inch and 6 feet deep excavation were exposed to cave-in hazards, and the employer did not use cave-in protection.     Haier Plumbing & Heating Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313016826, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 11-23-2010, with respect to a workplace located at Ashland & Orlando, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.
