On or about July 25, 2012, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 8 feet while working from the elevated bucket of the International Harvestor front end loader. The employees were painting the underside of the south entrance canopy. One feasible and acceptable means of abatement to correct the hazard is to follow the safety instructions noted in the Equipment Manufacturers Institute Manual which prohibits working from the bucket, and, therefore, provide ladders and/or scaffolding.
