29 CFR 1910.145(c)(2)(i): Caution signs were not used to warn against potential hazards or to caution against unsafe practices: a) Dock Doors #1- #25 - On about July 25, 2012, the employer did not ensure that there were caution signs posted in and around the loading docks to alert employees and truck drivers of the potential hazards associated with working/walking at the loading docks in conjunction of the operation of motorized vehicles, exposing employees to struck-by hazards from vehicular traffic. b) Dock Doors #26 - #31 - On about July 25, 2012, the employer did not ensure that there were caution signs posted in and around the loading docks to alert employees and truck drivers of the potential hazards associated with working/walking at the loading docks in conjunction of the operation of motorized vehicles, exposing employees to struck-by hazards from vehicular traffic.
