29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: Jobsite located at 1833 S. Chateau St., Wichita, KS; employees engaged in residential roofing work on a 5 in 12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet 4 inches from the eave to the ground. Fall protection equipment present at the jobsite was not used. Marcos Cantera DBA Marco Polo Roofing Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316033695, citation number 01, item number 02, and was affirmed as a final order on 11/16/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1742 S. Washington St, Wichita, KS 67211.
