29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(1): The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI): (a) On or about July 30, 2012, Dual Line, the employer did not determine the 8-hour TWA exposure for employees, such as but not limited to, On-call Maintenance employees, engaged in changing and cleaning wringer rolls. An On-call Maintenance employee was sampled for exposure to Hexavalent Chromium and 0.00008mg/m3 was detected. The sampling was performed during one shift on August 16, 2012 for 442 minutes. The employer may use these sampling results to meet the initial monitoring requirement for Hexavalent Chromium or perform additional monitoring.

29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(4)(i): Whenever the employer allowed employees to consume food or beverages at a worksite where chromium (VI) was present, the employer did not ensure that eating and drinking areas and surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of chromium (VI): (a) On or about July 30, 2012 - Maintenance Breakroom, the presence of chromium (VI) was detected on the tables. (b) On or about July 30, 2012 - Dual Line Coater Operator Pod, the presence of chromium (VI) was detected on the table.
