29 CFR 1926.1417(c)(1): The procedures applicable to the operation of the equipment, including rated capacities (load charts), recommended operating speeds, special hazard warnings, instructions, and operator's manual, must be readily available in the cab at all times for use by the operator. a) On or about August 1, 2012; on the east side of the jobsite, employees were allowed to operate a mobile crane (Link Belt-HC218) without ensuring that the operators manual was maintained readily available in the cab at all times for use by the operator. Ranger Steel Erectors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1417(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316288877, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/8/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 9753 Hwy 80, Minden, LA 71055.
