29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1):  A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use:     a)  Assembly Prep Area - Employees were exposed to respiratory hazards from utilizing respiratory protection during soldering, painting, and sanitizing applications without a comprehensive respiratory protection program. Employees were provided a half face respirator and were instructed to use it without being medically evaluated to determine fitness for use or given training on proper use and cleaning of respirators, on or about July 31, 2012.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):    a) Assembly Prep Area - The employer did not adequately evaluate the hazards associated with sodering, painting, and sanitizing applications to determine the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) required to complete each job task, on or about July 31, 2012.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):  The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:     a) Assembly Prep Area - The employer did not have a written hazard communication program that documents the application, safe handling, and emergency procedures of all chemicals used onsite, on or about July 31, 2012.     Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
