29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: a) Assembly Prep Area - Employees were exposed to respiratory hazards from utilizing respiratory protection during soldering, painting, and sanitizing applications without a comprehensive respiratory protection program. Employees were provided a half face respirator and were instructed to use it without being medically evaluated to determine fitness for use or given training on proper use and cleaning of respirators, on or about July 31, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
