29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about August 1, 2012 and times prior, employees were exposed to injuries from falls greater than 6 feet while installing roofing materials on the roof surface. Zede Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 313722134, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2a, and issued on 09/28/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 2180 Crystal River, Colorado Springs, CO 80198. This citation became final order on October 25, 2010. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
