29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Employees constructing a parapet wall from the roof deck located on the south side of the building at 402 N. Market St, Wichita, KS 67202 were exposed to fall hazards of 18' to the ground below in that, fall protection was not utilized where the parapet wall measured less than 39" in height above the roof deck.
