29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: (a)Berna Roofing at 296 Sloan Dr., Johnstown, CO 80534: On August 4, 2012 an employee was not protected from injury, in that an employee engaged in roofing operations on a roof with a 6 in 12 pitch without the use of fall protection. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of up to approximately 10 feet. Berna Roofing was previously cited for a violation of is occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313412926, citation number 1, item 1, issued September 3, 2009 and became a final order on September 11, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 1423 Mallard Dr., Johnstown, CO 80534.
