Barrett did not conduct an exposure assessment to determine if any employee was exposed to lead at or above the action level.  Employees were pouring melted lead to complete joint connections of cast iron pipes.

Employees were conducting plumbing operations inside an excavation measuring from east to west - 36 feet L x 3 feet W x 10 feet D, and from north to south - 11 feet L x 6 feet W x 8 feet D.
