29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a/ At the job site, conventional fall protection was not in use for one employee who was removing pre-existing roofing material from a church roof. The roof's slope was measured at approximately 5:12. The ground to eave height was approximately nine feet.
