29 CFR 1910. 147(c)(4)(ii)(B) : The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy: On or about July 20, 2012, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not assure energy control procedures specifically outlined the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines to control hazardous energy, for machines such as, but not limited to: a) Metlsaw pneumatic/hydraulic/electric saw, b) Yoder Slitter: electric/hydraulic/pneumatic. Employees were exposed to the hazard of being caught in the point of operation, caught in or struck by moving machinery, and electrical shock.
