29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: (a) Ward Marine Enterprises, Inc., Baldor Pedestal Grinder, 1215W, 208/220/440 volts. On or about August 6, 2012 the left tongue guard was improperly adjusted to 2 1/4 inches and the right tongue guard was improperly adjusted to 1 1/8 inches which exceeded the 1/4 required distance from the abrasive wheel.
