29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (AMUTCD"), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millenium Edition, December 2000, FHWA. a) On August 8, 2012 at a worksite in Oswego IL, Geneva Construction Company did not conform to section 6F.20 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) when employees were working in and near the traveled way of Wolf Crossing Road without providing advance warning to approaching road users of a one lane road ahead. A ONE LANE ROAD AHEAD sign was not erected on east bound Wolfs Crossing Road. For the road users turning onto Wolfs Crossing Road from the streets of: Stone Hill, Della Ln. , Southbury Blvd., Bluegrass Pkwy., South Douglas Road, Cardinal Ave., Secretariat Ln., and 5th St. b) On August 8, 2012 at a worksite in Oswego IL, Geneva Construction Company did not conform to section 6G.03 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) when employees were working in and near the traveled way of Wolf Crossing Road without providing advance warning to approaching road users. ROAD CONSTRUCTION AHEAD signs were not erected on east bound Wolfs Crossing Road. For the road users turning onto Wolfs Crossing Road from the streets of: Stone Hill, Della Ln., Southbury Blvd., Bluegrass Pkwy., South Douglas Road, Cardinal Ave., Secretariat Ln., and 5th St. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
