29 CFR 1926.304(i)(1) Each circular hand-fed ripsaw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut: Worksite, west side of restructure - On, or about, 08/08/12 an employee was observed operating a 10 inch table saw. There was no guard on the saw. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

Employees were not protected from falling by guardrails or personal fall arrest systems; on or about 08/08/12. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
