29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination: (a) 130 West King Street, Shippensburg, PA, Rooftop - The employer did not provide fall protection for employees performing roof repair work, thereby exposing employees to an approximate sixteen (16) foot fall to the ground below, on or about July 12, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
