29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(ii):     The employer did not assure that each employee, as necessary, had been trained by a competent person in the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling and inspecting the fall protection systems to be used:    a. At the construction site on South Mount Auburn and Bloomfield Roads, where roofing material was being installed to an entrance way overhang, the employer had not evaluated the fall hazard in order to provide instruction on how the work would proceed to prevent a fall and comply with the requirements of the fall hazard standard (also see 1926.21(b)(2) for instruction on avoidance of unsafe conditions and on applicable regulations.).    Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).
