Violation occurred on or about 8/16/2012.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employers did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area and chemical-specific information was not always available through labels and material safety data sheets a) Prudential Center, 25 Lafayette Street, Newark, NJ 07102 Employees cleaning floors at the Prudential Center were exposed to hazardous chemicals, such as, but not limited to, caustics containned in SIGNET Heavy Duty Floor Cleaners were not trained on the hazazrds of the chemicals used on site. On 4/24/2012, an employee fell and twisted thier left ankle on the stairs. The employee missed 18 days of work. Violation occurred on or about 8/16/2012.
