29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):     Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c).     On August 15, 2012, employees were not provided cave-in protection, exposing employees to the hazards associated with working in a 8 foot deep unprotected trench.    API Plumbing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1) which was contained in inspection number 311244347, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 26, 2007 with respect to a work place located at 99 Industrial Dr. Gilberts Illinois, 60136.    There is no abatement certification or documentation for this item.
