29 CFR 1910.141(a)(4)(ii):     Wastes were not collected and removed as often as necessary to maintain the place of employment in a sanitary condition:    The employer does not ensure that all sweepings, solid or liquid wastes, refuse and garbage are collected and removed as often as necessary to maintain the workplace in a sanitary condition.    a.	This violation was observed on or about August 16, 2012, on the Shop Floor where employees were exposed to a slipping hazard when motor oils released from engines and/or automobile parts leaked onto the concrete floor in the  work area.    b.	This violation was observed on or about August 16, 2012 on the Shop Floor where employees were exposed to a sanitation hazard when a used oil absorption material was not immediately swept and removed when placed around a machine leaking oil into the work area.     c.	This violation was observed on or about August 16, 2012 in the facility bathroom where employees were exposed to a sanitation hazard when the trash can overflowed with paper and plastic wastes that were not discarded as often as necessary.     Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that wastes are collected and removed as often as necessary to maintain the workplace in a sanitary condition.
