29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). a) Hilt Construction and Management Corporation. On or about August, 9 2012 employees were working in a basement excavation up to 9.7 feet deep while pouring concrete footers 3 feet to 4 feet from the excavation walls and were not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system.
