29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. a) a) On or about 8/15/12 at the Methodist Church in Albion, New York; an employee, while working in an aerial lift at a height of 25 feet was wearing a safety harness without the use of a lanyard. Employee stepped onto the railing of the basket in order to secure a metal roof panel. No Abatement Documentation
