29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1):  In every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial, or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official shall be marked on plates of approved design which shall be supplied and securely affixed by the owner of the building, or his duly authorized agent, in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate. Such plates shall not be removed or defaced but, if lost, removed, or defaced, shall be replaced by the owner or his agent.    Shop, Second Floor Storage Area - The employer did not have a structural load rating posted for the second floor level.

29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1):  Every open-sided floor or platform 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level shall be guarded by a standard railing (or the equivalent as specified in paragraph (e)(3) of this section) on all open sides except where there is entrance to a ramp, stairway, or fixed ladder. The railing shall be provided with a toeboard wherever, beneath the open sides:    Shop, Second Floor Storage Area -  The employer did not install a guard rail system to prevent possible falls of approximately 10 feet to the lower level.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii):   Inside of buildings, cylinders shall be stored in a well-protected, well-ventilated, dry location, at least 20 (6.1 m) feet from highly combustible materials such as oil or excelsior. Cylinders should be stored in definitely assigned places away from elevators, stairs, or gangways. Assigned storage spaces shall be located where cylinders will not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons:    Shop:      Instance A - One cylinder of oxygen was stored two feet from a cylinder of propane.  Instance B - Two cylinders of combustible gas were not secured and protected from damage.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i):  All pull boxes, junction boxes, and fittings shall be provided with covers identified for the purpose. If metal covers are used, they shall be grounded. In completed installations, each outlet box shall have a cover, faceplate, or fixture canopy:    Shop - The light switch had exposed live wires due to a missing face plate.
