29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes were not arranged so that employees did not have to travel toward a high hazard area, with a path of travel that was effectively shielded from the high hazard area by suitable partitions or other physical barriers: Employees conducting metal recycling activities were exposed to a fire hazard because doors labeled as exits were obstructed. A doorway labeled as an exit located on the east side of the working shear was blocked by an unused shear that employees would have to maneuver around in order to follow the path labeled as an exit.
