29 CFR 1910.138(a):     The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes:    (a) At the kitchen, on or about 8/14/2012:  The employer did not provide adequate hand protection at the convection oven where only one oven mitt was available for use when moving trays of hot food, and where poor condition mitts had been provided.     (b) At the kitchen, on or about 8/14/2012:  The employer did not provide adequate hand protection at the grill area where the meat ring handle covers were gone and no thermal hand protection was provided to the employee at that work station.
