29 CFR 1926.1053(a)(7): Ladders not specifically designed for such use were tied or fastened together to provide longer sections: a) Front of Building - A 12 foot section of aluminum ladder was lashed to the top end of a 32 foot aluminum extension ladder in order to extend the 32 foot ladder to reach a roof that was over 40 feet high, on or about 08/14/2012.
