29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1): The employer did not provide at least one advance warning sign for work within two feet of the paved roadway. (a)Jobsite: 1210 Kerlin Street, Chester - On or about 8/15/2012, an employee performing work on a water main system located within one foot of the roadway pavement was exposed to vehicle impact hazards without any traffic control device posted at the point of hazard. The employer failed to provide at least one advance warning sign thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards. 1988 MUTCD 6G-2b2 On or near the shoulder edge. Advance warning signs are needed. Channelizing devices are used to close the shoulder, direct traffic, and keep the work space visible to the motorist. (b)Jobsite: 1210 Kerlin Street, Chester - On or about 8/15/2012, an employee performing work on a water main system was exposed to vehicle impact hazards without any traffic control devices posted at the point of hazard when the parking of a work vehicle belonging to the host employer changed the job traffic control zone activities from work on or near the shoulder to lane closure on a two lane road. The employer was contractually responsible for the work zone safety and failed to provide at least one advance warning sign thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards. 1988 MUTCD 6G-2b4 On the traveled way. Work on the traveled way demands optimum protection for workers and maximum advance warning for drivers. Advance warning must provide a general message that what is taking place, information about specific hazards, and actions the driver must take to drive through the temporary traffic control zone. Photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment,
