29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides: a) Day Bin Area (roof) Employees work on an elevated platform, approximately 5 feet 2 inches above the lower level (roof), which was not guarded against employees falling to the lower level. The employees would perform maintenance on the rotary valves and gear boxes of the holding bins. This violation was observed on or about August 8, 2012.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: a) Electrical Control Room 7 (ECR 7) Employees did not have sufficient access to the electrical control room to permit ready and safe operations and maintenance, exposing employees to obstruction hazards for both access and egress. This violation was observed on or about August 8, 2012.
