29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    (a) PSECU Headquarters, Roof - On or about August 20, 2012 employees were working approximately 52 feet above grade inside a warning line system which did not afford them the same protection as a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
