OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a crushing hazard. Employer did not provide proper training on operating, servicing on maintaining the skid steer loader according to the manufacturer's instructions. a)Maintenance Shop:Employees were exposed to a crushing hazard while attempting to fix a leak on a Bob Cat and not using a lift arm support device. Violation occurred on or about 8/14/12.
